THE SITUATION

Inspire Pharmaceuticals, Inc.  is a biopharmaceutical company focused on researching, developing and commercializing prescription pharmaceutical products for ophthalmic and pulmonary diseases. Inspire Pharmaceuticals, Inc. was searching for a dynamic method to train clinical trial investigators on determining Dry Eye grading and provide research study sites with reference materials to support the study.

THE SOLUTION

Eyemaginations, Inc. and Inspire Pharmaceuticals, Inc. collaborated on developing a web-based education module to formalize and document investigator knowledge of grading, protocols, and all learning objectives that needed to be reinforced with tracked results. Alongside the module development, Eyemaginations created additional support for the investigators through posters and reference card booklets, to reinforce the information presented the web based training program.

THE GOALS

• Develop a training module that would complement live training sessions but also test the knowledge of the investigator. 
• Create an interactive training program that would be web based with the ability to track results based on demographics and success rates.
• Design laminated posters and a patient focused flip book with images and information to assist the investigators in presenting the information to the patients.

THE RESULT

Inspire Pharmaceuticals was able to enhance their Dry Eye investigative study with a results-driven solution that provided thorough training for its investigative support sites and tracked report results to show the performance metrics of the study.
